My Music project is inspired by the American Graphic and Poster Artist Jason Munn.

I decided to incorporate Munn's 2D design style into my G-Eazy Album re-design as well as adding an old, vintage look to make it more unique.

Before diving into the Album re-design, I decided to create 2 pieces of work inspired by Jason Munn to get a feel for how he works.

The Final Designs

INITIAL ALBUM COVER RE-DESIGN

This was my first attempt at the G-Eazy album front cover re-design. I went for a simplistic 2D style, just like Jason Munn.

However, I wasn't satisfied with the outcome so I went on to create a second front cover with a complete different style.

FINAL ALBUM COVER RE-DESIGN

For this design I created an abstract pattern background which fades from orange to purple. In the centre I created a 2D flat design of G-Eazy and placed the text in the centre. I also added highlights, shadows and a grunge texture to give it a vintage look.
